📅 Join us for a productive day of co-working and constructive feedback!
The co-working day on April 2nd brought together both designers and developers talking shop and getting stuff done. So we're doing it again.
Come bring your projects and ideas to work alongside fellow web professionals in a focused, collaborative environment! This event combines independent work time with structured peer feedback to help you move your projects forward.
There's lots of spaces to work in - both in the conference area as well as smaller more private spaces, all with amazing views of Portland.
Schedule:
- 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Morning co-working session
- 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM: Lunch break (bring your own or join us at nearby spots)
- 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM: Project feedback roundtable
- 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM: Afternoon co-working session
Project Feedback Roundtable (1:00 - 2:00 PM)
This is your chance to get fresh eyes on your work! During this hour, you can present your projects and receive feedback from peers or brainstorm solutions to any challenges. Whether you're stuck on a coding challenge, need UX input, or want to brainstorm new features, this is the perfect opportunity to tap into our community's collective expertise.
How it works:
- Each presenter gets 5-10 minutes (depending on attendance)
- Brief overview of your project and specific areas where you'd like feedback
- Open discussion and suggestions from the group
Who Should Attend
- Web designers and developers at any experience level
- Freelancers and agency owners looking for a productive work environment
- Anyone with a project they'd like feedback on
- Web professionals wanting to connect with the Portland community
What to Bring
- Your laptop and any other work essentials
- A project you'd like feedback on (optional)
- Questions and insights to share with others
- Your own snacks/drinks (we'll have some basics available)
This event aligns with our mission to build a collaborative community where web professionals can learn, share insights, and build lasting connections to support not only the growing PDX Web & Design community but also the local businesses.
Whether you're looking to focus on your own work, provide valuable feedback, or receive input on your projects, this co-working day offers something for everyone.
Space is limited, so RSVP today!
