Paddle at Winding Waters Natural Area, West Palm Beach

This is a leisurely paddle at Winding Waters Natural Area. There are no rentals at this location. Paddling is occasionally difficult because of weeds. Not recommended for inflatables or paddle boards or anything with fins. We will be on the water for 2-3 hours. Birds are plentiful and varied. Winding Waters entrance is a short way west of the intersection of Haverhill Road and Dyer Blvd. The address, 6161 Haverhill Road, West Palm Beach, FL, is the official address of the park and a good one to use with your GPS to get in the vicinity. To get to the launch area go north from that address to Dyer Blvd and then go west on Dyer until the entrance, on your left. Small walk from parking lot to launch. Wheels are handy if you have them.
