Bike Ride Lambertville NJ D&R Canal Path – 28 miles – Approximate Speed 12mph

Details
Join us for a fun bike ride on the Scenic Delaware and Raritan Canal Trail along the Delaware River. This will be an enjoyable workout with no hills.
We’ll head South on the trail to the Scudder’s Falls Bridge, cross over to PA and head North on the trail, stopping at Colonial Farms in Washington’s Crossing for a break. We’ll continue to the Center Bridge (Rte. 263 Upper York Rd.) where we’ll cross back over to Stockton, NJ and head south on the trail to our start/end point.
This is a trail ride. A hybrid, gravel or mountain bike is recommended. The tow path is a pretty smooth mix of packed down pea to walnut size gravel with a several dirt sections. There are a few spots that can be slightly muddy after rain.
There are rest rooms at the start/end point and several locations along our route.
Parking: When you enter the driveway, the Lambertville Station Restaurant will be on your left and the Lambertville Inn will be directly ahead of you. Veer to the left at the parking attendant (don’t pay to park). Go past the Inn and park in the gravel lot on the right just beyond the Inn.
Helmets are required on my rides. Anyone without a helmet will be removed from the ride. This is non-negotiable.
Please have a spare tube and a flat repair kit for your size tire. Bring water, snack, electrolyte as you see fit.
We’ll have lunch at the Station Pub (2 minute walk from our parking lot) for those who would like to join us. Food & Drinks are very good & reasonably priced.
By signing up for this event you acknowledge you are responsible for your own safety.
