Florida Puerto Rican Day Parade and Festival

Details

Located in Downtown Orlando, the Florida Puerto Rican Parade and Festival is a celebration of Puerto Rican culture, values, heritage, and pride. The all-day event begins at 11am with a street parade.

The festival, held immediately after the parade, features live musical performances and celebrity appearances. More than 100 exhibitors, including national and corporate sponsors, local products, crafts, kiosks, typical food, artisans, painters, artists, and products made in Puerto Rico.

Meetup time is at 10am at the Muse of Discovery (a giant woman half-buried in the grass public art sculpture located near Lake Eola Park’s amphitheater). At 10.15am, the group will walk to a closed street where the parade will be traveling through.

Downtown Orlando parking options include parking garages, metered parking, and free street parking in the historic Lake Eola Heights District. (The district is roughly bounded by Hillcrest Street, North Hyer Avenue, Ridgewood Street and North Magnolia Avenue).
