So you've mastered planets, signs and houses. You feel confident about aspects, know how to read aspect patterns and can identify chart shapes. The remaining question is: How do I bring this all together to form a coherent synthesis of a chart?

This class is meant for students who have a firm grasp of the fundamentals of astrology, but want some guidance on how to bring all of the elements together for a solid read of a chart in a wholistic way. We'll talk about starting points for a reading, identifying and defining themes in a chart and how to use dispositorship to weave a narrative of the chart.

We've all had that moment where we've drawn a card in the middle of a reading and gone...wait....what? Sometimes the Tarot throws a curveball at us, and contextualizing the card within the layout becomes a challenge.

In this class we will learn some strategies to approach this challenge. We'll learn about allowing the question to guide you, different ways to approach the cards and how to let your intuition take the lead when the card seems out of place.

The strategies we discuss in this class will work with both Rider/Waite based decks and Oracle decks, so feel free to bring both or either for the class. This class is $25.

The angles on a natal chart are extremely sensitive points, and it's important to identify and understand them as we continue our journey. What are the angles? What do each of them represent in our lives? Why is it so important to study the angles in the chart? What about the angles heighten planetary themes? We'll cover the answer to all of these questions, and then look at the angles in each other's charts to study the heightened themes for each of us.

We'll also look at Hemispheres and Quadrants. Which hemisphere is heaviest for you? Is there a quadrant that dominates your personality? What do each of these mean, and how do you read them in a chart? Finding the answers to these questions can help you get an at-a-glance idea of a person's influences in their natal chart.

Please bring a printed copy of your natal chart. If you're unable to print a copy of your natal chart, let me know 24 hours before the class and I'll print one for you.

I have been wanting to take a deep dive into Mary K. Greer's 21 Ways to Read a Tarot Card for quite some time, but I'm terrible about staying motivated when I try to do things by myself. So join me!

In this meeting, we will be working through Mary K. Greer's book chapter by chapter. It's ok if you miss any of these meetings; the activities in each chapter can stand alone. So feel free to drop in and out if you'd like. The goal will be to meet once a month.

You can find this book at Alchemy Arts or any local occult bookstore. In our next meeting, we will be looking at the 16th chapter. Read this chapter, do the exercises, and we'll come together and share what we've learned and experienced.

Since this is more of a collaborative experience than a class, I'm only charging $10 for this meeting. The price helps me offset the cost of having the Meetup group and a subscription to Zoom, both of which make it possible for me to do this with you!
