
What we’re about
This is a meetup group for people who are interested in the practice of mindfulness, particularly in the tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh. We have numerous meetings, sometimes three or four a week. There are two weekly meetings currently, the Monday night meditation and Friday noble silence meditation. The group is called a Sangha, the word for community in Buddhism. We practice in a Buddhist tradition, but we are open to people from any background or religion. All of our meetings are free to attend and participate in, although you have the option of donating however much you wish. Please check out the website below:

No previous experience is required to attend. It is a very relaxed atmosphere and people of all kinds are welcome. Some familiarity with Thich Nhat Hanh's tradition and teachings is helpful. Welcome!

We practice 20 minutes of sitting meditation, followed by 10 minutes of walking meditation, and another 20 minutes of sitting meditation. We observe noble silence upon entering, while practicing, and while leaving the meditation space.
