Welcome to OlderNBolder Local.
This is a social club dedicated to people over 50 living in Hamilton and surrounding South/north Lanarkshire area.
For 11 years I have been organising successful over 50s events in Glasgow but during the pandemic I realised the benefits of socialising in your local area.There is less travelling obviously and it’s easier to get home after you have had a good night out 😂!
This group will be run as a club with a bi annual fee of £5 to cover expenses and upfront deposits/ costs for events. This also shows that you are a serious member and, like me, committed to the club.
I will offer between 2 and 5 events per month most of which will be in the Lanarkshire Area. You membership will require that you attend an event at least once every 2 months. The longevity of a group/club is dependent upon your participation, so please contemplate this before you join.
On offer are walks, lunches, coffee Meet-ups, live music, dinner dances , discos, tribute Nights and the occasional weekend Break. Over the years I have organised all sorts of events but feel that these are the most sociable giving you the opportunity to make lasting friendships.
So be brave and take that first step to a new social life.
