Join us on a Sunday hike through the rolling hills of Weir Canyon. This will be a 2.7 mile hike with a 488 foot elevation gain. Though there are never promises in nature, there are often poppies and other wildflowers to be seen this time of year.

SCHEDULE
• 10:00 - 10:15 Aim to arrive either before 10 or as close to 10
as possible to leave time for any problems with parking or anything else. We will use the first 15 minutes to gather, introduce each other, and allow a little time for anyone with unexpected parking issues.
• 10:15 We head out on the trail. Note that after this time I will likely stop checking messages. The hike should take us around 2 hours with occasional stops to rest, take pictures, and enjoy nature along the way.
• 12:00-12:15 We should get back around this time.
WHAT TO BRING
• Sturdy shoes. Bring hiking boots if you have them or your sturdiest shoes.
• Water
• Hat
• Sunscreen
• A snack if you think you'll want one.
PARKING
• Note that there are multiple entrances to the Weir Canyon trail. We will be meeting at the entrance at the intersection of South Hidden Canyon Road and Overlook Terrace where street parking should be available near the trailhead.

LIABILITY
All levels of hikers are welcome. However, please note that you are hiking at your own risk. You agree not to hold the organizers liable for any injuries sustained while hiking.
