This group is for dog owners who want to socialize, enrich and exercise their dog and prefer on-leash group activities. The goal is to socialize our dogs in a safe and controlled way and spice up our daily walks with some adventure. We will map out a route in advance and walk in packs. There will be ample time for treats, training and exploring along the way. If you love dogs and love talking about dogs then this meetup group is for you!

Your participation in any of our events is your acknowledgment that you are solely responsible for you and your dog's safety and for assessing your dog's ability to join in group activities. Pack walk leaders are not certified dog trainers or behaviorists and are not responsible for supervising interactions amongst the dogs and people attending. Hosts and pack walk leaders reserve the right to socially distance dogs for the safety of the other members and dogs on the walk. Pack walk leaders also reserve the right to refuse participation at a walk or event to any member and their dog for the safety of everyone involved. Discrimination against the group member or dog will not be tolerated, including size and breed biases. Refusal of participation will be based solely on the reactive or aggressive behaviors displayed by the dog at the event. Social distancing can help mitigate those behaviors and will be tested first before requesting the member leave the event.
Participants at any NYC Dog Walks event are encouraged to discuss with the pack walk leader any physical limitation they may have that could affect their ability to fully participate in an event, especially on hikes outside city limits such as those on hiking trails. Walkers must be physically fit and all dogs must be fully vaccinated and remain leashed at all times. By joining our group and participating in an event, you agree to waive all rights and claims for damages or injuries against NYC Dog Walks, its officers, directors, hosts, pack walk leaders, employees, event personnel or volunteers.
