(NOTE: The meetup is a merger of the 50+ Activities and Friendship - NWA (Benton Co) Meetup and the NWA Singles Group).

_____ The WHO: This Meetup is primarily for those 50 years of age or older. 50+ is not a number cast in cement. If you are younger or retired early and you can relate to 50+ age group, you are welcome to join this group.

_____ The WHERE: The location INTENDED for this Meetup is for those LIVING IN (or around) NWA (Northwest Arkansas).

NWA North - Eric and Ryan Miller (the Meetup Organizers) will be doing events and activities mostly in and around Bella Vista, Rogers and Bentonville.

NWA South - Darryl Pennington (Assist Organizer) will be doing events and activities more centered around Springdale and Fayetteville.

_____ The WHAT: Having Socials, Suppers, Sports and other Special Events to participate in. You are welcome to make suggestions for events on this meetup.

SOCIALS: Going to Movies, Dances and Concerts in the Park, etc. Going on day or weekend trips to Nearby Attractions, Casinos and Music-Art-Cultural Festivals.

SUPPERS: Going out to Happy Hours and Restaurants, having Polucks and Meet & Greets etc.

SPORTS: Participating in Golf and Pickleball and other recreational activities such as: Hiking, Biking, Kayaking, Fishing, etc. We are open to your suggestions for other sports.

SPECIALIZED EVENTS: For Singles, Couples, New Comers in the area and other events like Cruises, etc.

_____ The WHY: The PURPOSE for this MEETUP is, with the SOCIALS, SUPPERS, SPORTS AND OTHER SPECIAL EVENTS, to have opportunities to meet others who share your common interests and activities and to meet and make new friends in the process. Depending on the activity, the social interaction may be before or after the activity.

_____ And a WORD (Etc.) about what you show know about being a member of this Meetup group. (Looking for Event Coordinators, Disclaimer, Responsibilities, and a No Solicitations policy if you do not have prior approval of the Meetup organizer)

I would also like to find members that would like to host their own event and be an Event-Hosts, to share whatever your passion is and for which I am not creating an event for.

Two examples, of an event I would like someone to run, for something which I do not do is HIKING and BIKING. So, if hiking or biking is your passion and you would like to have company when you Hike or Bike, then let me know that you would like to create an event to organize a walk or ride.

If you have signed up for an event and know beforehand that you cannot attend, if there is a waitlist, PLEASE UNDO YOUR RSVP, if not attending an event you signed up for, by changing your status to “NOT GOING,” which will open up your spot for someone else.
