Join us for an extra special May edition of Notts TechFast as we are collaborating with the Nottingham Tech for Good Festival!
As part of their packed agenda, we will be hosting Lex Lofthouse discussing "why you need to start giving a damn about accessibility"
This will be a 'hybrid event' - both in-person at Fothergill House Nottingham, and available to join online too. Those who mark themselves as attending will be sent a link to join the webinar closer to the time if you're unable to join us for breakfast personally. You are welcome to join us at Fothergill House from 7am. The links will also be made available via social media posts so make sure you follow us on LinkedIn and X to keep up to date.
About the talk
Accessibility – a word we’ve all heard a lot over the past few years surrounding the web, but why? Some of us might understand why accessibility is so important, but some of us might have never even considered it. That’s ok… let’s talk about it.
I’ll discuss why it’s so important to have an accessibility-first approach when making stuff for an audience online and some tips on how we can do it in practice.
