Paddle boarding Beeston Canal

I've organised for us to do some paddle boarding- DO NOT say you are going to this until you have paid. If you do not pay, i will remove you from the event, please follow the link to pay first, then accept on Meetup. This is non refundable.

The location is at Beeston Heritage Centre paddling along the canal. There's a lovely cafe, walk, chill area for everyone to relax pre or post paddle.

The cost is £40 for a 2 hour session. This would include the full learn to paddle workshop and time exploring the canal.

Please arrive no later than 12.30 so we can start at 1- we will not wait for late comers for this one.

After we go paddle boarding, we will head to a pub nearby for some drinks.

Please note- you MUST be a competent swimmer to do this activity.

You are responsible for yourself and your actions during this activity.

What to Wear Paddle Boarding:
Quick drying layers
Comfortable swimsuit or wet suit
Sunscreen
A long sleeve in case you burn easily
Sunglasses
Sun hat
Sandals or water shoes that won't fall off.

Please bring warm clothes and a towel for after, plenty of water to drink and any snacks or food for the afternoon.

Meetup charge organisers to run these groups, and therefore, we would appreciate a £1 donation to help toward the cost of the group. Anything extra will go toward maps, apps, and first aid.
