About us
Learn & Build is a monthly tech community for people who want to apply AI and modern tech in real life. We offer themed workshops either by the hosts or experts from AI field. We aim to provide equal opportunities to up skill for the times of AI that is impacting each and every one of us.
We focus on responsible, practical execution: how technology can genuinely improve personal productivity, team coordination, and how work gets done.
Our mission
Move beyond hype and explore how technology fits into human systems, with methods that actually hold up in practice.
Who it’s for
Builders, professionals, strategists, students, and curious operators who want to:
- Turn AI concepts into real-world use cases
- Test workflows, not just tools
- Learn where tech improves coordination (and where it breaks)
- Build practical systems grounded in sound thinking
What happens in a session
Hands-on, collaborative, and structured:
- Applied concepts + real examples
- Small experiments with workflows
- Discussion on tech + human coordination
- Takeaways you can use the next day
Join us
- Frankfurt (in-person) & Online both possible
- Every second Saturday of the month
- Please cancel if you cannot attend. Two consecutive no-shows may lead to removal from future events.
Get involved
Volunteer as a facilitator, bring a use case, propose a problem to explore, or help shape future sessions.

Learn & Build Tech: Workshop on designing Agentic Workflows
Stadtbücherei Frankfurt, hassengasse 4, Frankfurt am Main, DE****Please arrive 15 mins before to settle in. We will start sharp 2:00pm. No shows without cancellation will be blacklisted for future events. *****
What This Session Is About
AI agents are no longer a concept for the future — they're being built and deployed right now. But most people jumping into agentic AI skip the most important step: design.
Before you pick a tool or write a single line of code, you need to understand how to think about an agentic workflow — what triggers it, what decisions it makes, what tools it calls, and where humans stay in the loop.
That's exactly what this session is about. We'll go from blank page to designed workflow — together.
***
What You'll Learn- What agentic workflows actually are — and how they differ from simple automations
- The core building blocks: triggers, actions, memory, tools, and human-in-the-loop checkpoints
- How to map and design a workflow before touching any tool
- How to choose the right tool for your use case — no-code, low-code, or code
- Common failure patterns and how to design around them
***
Session Structure
1:30 PM – 2:00 PM: Welcome & Scene Setting Introductions, quick recap of APIs from last session, and framing for today
2:00 PM – 3:15 PM: Theory & Discussion A practical walkthrough of agentic workflow design — with real examples, live diagrams, and group discussion. We'll deconstruct workflows you already use every day and rebuild them with an agentic lens.
3:15 PM – 3:30 PM: Coffee & Bio Break Recharge and connect with fellow participants
3:30 PM – 5:00 PM: Hands-On Project You'll design and build a simple agentic workflow from scratch. Bring a use case that's relevant to your own work or curiosity — we'll help you scope it, map it, and get it running.***
