What we’re about
North Dallas Chess Club is a USCF Affiliate and Texas Chess Association member.
Currently we meet up casually to play chess. All skill levels and ages welcome. Playing blitz, rapid, and bughouse!
We're also in the process of setting up quarterly USCF rated league play, with each division made up of 10 rated players with promotion and relegation possible. Each quarter would see 5 sessions of G/90;d30 with a 6th session for recognizing the top finishers in each division and a casual quads blitz tournament - 5 games G5+3 - with small prizes to follow for section winners.
The championship division would have prize money and trophies for top 2 finishers and subsequent divisions' winner/runner-up would also receive trophies.
Please dm me here, through North Dallas Chess Club Facebook page or email me at northdallaschessclub@gmail.com with your name and US Chess ID. League Play would see membership dues of $30 per quarter - this covers arbiter fees, trophies and prize money. Boards and clocks will be provided and sanitized. We will follow latest US Chess guidelines concerning masks for all rated events.
