🌲 Journey to the Center – 22km Veluwe Zwerfpad Hike in Lunteren 🌲

Ready to hit the trail again? This time, we’re heading to the literal center of the Netherlands for an epic 22km loop hike through the stunning Veluwe! We’ll start in Lunteren and wander across forest paths, and scenic spots like the Wekeromse Zand and the Valouwe.

🗺️ What to Expect:

We’ll kick things off from Lunteren train station, starting with a little climb up the Goudsberg hill—right near the geographic heart of the Netherlands! From there, we’ll head into the wild beauty of Wekeromse Zand with its drifting sands and quiet forests. Then it’s on to the Valouwe, known for its juniper bushes and blooming rhododendrons, before looping back through Luntersche Buurtbos.

🥪 Breaks:

• 3km: Quick 10-min stop at the Centre of the Netherlands
• 10km: 20-min coffee break at Le Grand Café in Park Berkenrhode
• 15km: 30-min lunch at Keuenklep monument
