PHP & Laravel development Eindhoven is a group for web developers who use PHP and/or are interested in the Laravel PHP Framework. Laravel is an accessible, yet powerful framework for web application development. Its expressive, elegant syntax and its clean structure make PHP development a real joy. The group welcomes beginners and experts, amateurs and pros, young and old, just everybody. Connect with fellow Laravel enthusiasts and talk about code, application development, deployment, hacking, project management and anything related to PHP and Laravel.

After our previous meetup with our new sponsor Cell[0], we are continuing our schedule we had for years. So ... it's time for a new meetup in May!
We have Berry Langerak, CTO of Tilaa, who was a speaker at the last Dutch PHP Conference. Quite een impressive talk he gave there! His lecture at us is about containerization for developers. Therefore we think it's super interesting for all kind of developers but also scrum masters, DevOps engineers, etc.
Since the last time the team was not complete, we might have an announcement to make at our upcoming meetup. We will reveal something nice about our meetup group. With that comes a small (very small!) goodie. You might want to attend...

The lecture
Containers have revolutionized the way developers build, test and deploy applications by providing lightweight, consistent and portable environments. Berry Langerak has over two decades of experience in software development, with a strong focus on building scalable and reliable systems. For the past five years, he has worked extensively with containers, gaining deep expertise in modern application development.As the CTO of Tilaa, a leading cloud compute provider, Berry oversees the development of a container-centric application platform and is passionate about helping developers improve their workflows with modern tools and practices.

About the location
The meetup is held at Cell[0]. Cell[0] provides us an great location, food (pizza, vegan as well) and drinks. The office of Cell[0] is located inside the Klokgebouw building at Strijp-S. The entrance is in the middle of the building along Philitelaan, which is opposite the Ketelhuis.
If the door is locked, please ring the bell at number 112. Once inside, follow the signs to the second floor.For parking, paid options are available along the road at Strijp-S and in the "Om de Hoek" parking garage. Additionally, you can find some free parking spots at the NS train station Strijp-S, which is a 5-minute walk away. There is also plenty of free parking along Achtseweg Zuid or at the other side of the train tracks, all about a 10-minute walk.
Everybody is encouraged to attend about an hour prior to the lecture, so we can have a chat while enjoying our food.
