Wat we doen
In Improv Theater you play without a script. You just have your scene partners and a few guiding principles to follow, and you create wonderful moments on stage that will never be seen again.
It's a lot of FUN, and we want to share that FUN with as many people as we can! So we created this Meetup, for all Improv lovers, or those who are curious to know more about it. We will share Improv events taking place in Eindhoven, in English. We organize/promote weekly open beginner classes where everyone is welcome, shows, monthly jams, workshops, etc., so you won't have another boring week in your life!

From the chaotic minds behind CSI: Crime Scene Improvisation and Just Another Yesterday, comes a theatrical experience like no other.
Do you love reality TV? Hate it? Perfect.This is a full season of a dating reality show performed live on stage, completely improvised, condensed in two acts, with a lovely break for drinks.
Expect comedy. Drama. Tension. Emotion. Twists. Overcomplicated dating scenarios.
And probably more. Because no one, not even the cast, knows what’s coming next.

The Improv Community of Eindhoven presents a longform improvisational theater workshop (with optional showcase) taught by Zlatin Tsvetkov.
The Emerging Play is for people with experience and a deep interest in acting and improvisation. In this 12-hour workshop, participants will learn to improvise a full play with authenticity and emotional depth. Rather than relying on comedy or quick wit, we will focus on truthful, grounded performances—acting as actors, not improvisers. Through exercises in emotional honesty, character relationships, and scene work, we will aim to develop rich, compelling narratives driven by real human connection. This experience will help performers create improvisational theatre that feels as powerful and moving as a scripted production.
This workshop is ideal for those who want to explore emotionally grounded, character-driven storytelling and are ready to commit to truthful, immersive scene work. Whether you're an actor looking to enhance your spontaneity or an improviser seeking deeper emotional connection, this intensive will push you to new artistic horizons.
The workshop has a maximum of 12 participants. The showcase at the end will be in a casual setting and is not mandatory; participants are welcome to take only the workshop if they don't want to perform. The showcase will consist of 2 plays, each about 45 minutes long and each with 5-6 players. For each play, the story takes place on a single set, the improvisers play one character each, and there are no built-in transitions or scene breaks.
The workshop takes place at United Cowboys (Kleine Berg 62, 5611 JW Eindhoven) on:
- Friday 09 May from 17:00-22:00
- Saturday 10 May from 10:00-18:00
The showcase takes place at CKE Theaterzaal (Pastoor Petersstraat 180, 5612 LW Eindhoven) on:
- Saturday 10 May from 20:00-22:00
The total cost is €120.
