Nintendo Switch 2 Experience: Manchester

FREE ENTRY!! Meetup limits attendees to 10 but feel free to come along. The more the merrier!

Did you miss out on the London experience? Don't worry! Instead, get your hands on experience with Nintendo's latest console in the heart of Manchester instead!!

Typically our meets are on the first Sunday of every month, but this time we've had to make an exception. The event takes place on Saturday 7th June, only two days after the Switch 2 launch.

We'll be showcasing as many of the Switch 2 launch games as possible!! Mario Kart World, Fast Fusion, Street Fighter 6, Split Fiction, Welcome Tour, Breath of the Wild / Tears of the Kingdom Switch 2 Editions, and maybe more!!

Not to mention we'll be hosting a HUGE raffle with loads of prizes up for grabs! £1 per ticket. We'll be drawing the raffle at 5pm.

Even if you were able to get a hold of a pre-order, get yourself down to our six hour - yes, SIX HOUR - console launch event downstairs at Pixel Bar!! Share your experience with Nintendo's newest console with others, or swap friendcodes with new players!

As always, for anyone with 3DSes, at the meet you'll have a few opportunities to get more of those elusive Streetpasses that we've all been missing out on. Are you shy on puzzle pieces, or need more heads to face the Dark Emperor? This is where you wanna be!!

You're not restricted to playing these though. Feel free to play any games you like with your friends - old or new! There might even be something you like on the booth TVs.

You don't even have to play! Come join, drink, eat, chat, whatever! We've love for you to be there! ❤️

Hand wipes and hand sanitiser will be available upon request.

We have meets arranged at Pixel Bar on the first Sunday of every month (when available). Additional meets may be arranged if something big is happening, like the launch of a big IP or new hardware, but this will be on a case-by-case basis. We've chosen to go with a clear repeated event so that there is no confusion over when the next one will be. If it's the first Sunday of the month, you know where we'll all be!

--------------- Notice Regarding Food --------------

Pixel Bar operates on a principle whereby guests are *not* permitted to eat/drink outside refreshments while inside the premises. Anyone caught doing so could compromise the event for everyone, not just themselves. So please, if you want to buy lunch or refreshments elsewhere then please consume it before coming back inside!
For the record this includes Bottled Water (it's a blanket rule to avoid confusion), but tap water is available for free at the bar.

---------- Regarding Wheelchair Access ----------

Unfortunately, for any events downstairs, Pixel Bar does not have wheelchair access at present. There may be the occasional event held on the ground floor but either way we'll make this clear prior to its start. For people requiring access to events where we are downstairs, Pixel Bar unfortunately cannot accommodate at this point. However we are working with Pixel Bar to improve our events to make them suitable for everyone. So hopefully we can address this issue soon!
