Great Missenden (Buckinghamshire) circular walk.

*This is a date change for the Great Missenden walk to Saturday, 26th April 2025, 10:30*

Outline: A pleasant country walk, with some uphill. Moderate pace and time to pause to admire the views. A chance to have a look around the attractive Chiltern town of Great Missenden at the end of the walk. You may wish to visit the The Roald Dahl Museum in the afternoon, booking is normally only needed in school holidays, I'm told.

Meeting place: in front of Great Missenden Railway Station.
Parking at the Station.
(Toilets at station.)

Start time: 10:30

Distance: approximately 7 miles.
(We can shorten the walk if desired.)

Time walking: about 3+ hours.

Conditions: please wear suitable clothing and footwear for the weather.

Risk: we walk at our own risk. Please always carry written contact details of who to contact in case of emergency.

Refreshments: please bring water to drink, a packed lunch or snacks. At about 12:30 / 13:00, we will stop to eat, please bring something to sit on. We can also stop for breaks along the walk as required.

Dogs: welcome on lead.
