What we’re about
Now in our second year, we will be reading The Art of the Short Story, edited by Dana Gioia and W.S. Gwynn to continue exploring the genre of the short story, to discuss the intricacies of each selection in the volume, and to enrich our appreciation and knowledge of the canon of great short fiction. To participate in this group, you will need a copy of the anthology, which is easily found used for affordable prices online. There are 52 stories in the volume, so we will usually read two stories for each meeting and meet twice a month. We look forward to delving into this great collection with you!
