NYC Dads Group is moving to WhatsApp!
Join us by the end of the month to ensure you are included in future events, meetups, and community conversations with other dads.
Meet other New York City dads -- stay-at-home dads, work-from-home dads, working dads, all involved fathers from in and around the NY Metro area (including Jersey City, Long Island and Westchester County) -- to socialize and interact with other guys who enjoy spending quality time with their kids.

Our primary goal is to form an inclusive and active community of involved dads so we can do activities together and take advantage of the wonderful resources that the city has to offer.
Organized meetup events are offered several times per week at a local park, playground, museum, playgym, children's venue, parent & me class, zoo, restaurant, or someone's playroom/lounge in their building.

Hey NYC Dads,
It's been a while and hope everyone is well. We have an important and exciting announcement about the future of the NYC Dads Group: we are shifting from the Meetup.com platform in favor of an NYC Dads Group WhatsApp Community. Most future communications will be happening within our WhatsApp community chat.
Several other City Dads Group meetup groups around the country have been piloting WhatsApp Groups for a few months with some success - there is more enthusiasm, group discussion/connectedness, meetup frequency, and meetup attendance. As most of you know, NYC Dads Group has been fairly dormant since the Pandemic. Moving to WhatsApp seems to be a viable path forward into the future with the goal of connecting dads and meeting up.

Thank you, everyone, for being a part of NYC Dads Group. Matt and I have worked incredibly hard over the years to create an amazing platform for fathers. We hope you'll join us as we continue to build more support for dads within our city and beyond! Please give us a few days to accept membership requests.
Lastly, as many of you know, Matt and I have older kids. We're not able to plan meetups for eager fathers with younger kids.
