What we’re about
Welcome to the New Orleans Cybersecurity & Ethical Hacking Hub, a vibrant community where hands-on learning and collaboration thrive in the heart of The Big Easy! Whether you’re just diving into the world of cybersecurity, moving past your script kiddie phase, or showcasing your skills as an L33t OSCP certified hacker, our group caters to all levels of interest and expertise.
Our mission is to cultivate a robust network of cybersecurity enthusiasts for regular hands-on practice, educational growth, and, most importantly, sharing our experiences in a friendly and ego-free environment. From live hacking demos where members can display real-time problem-solving, to show-and-tell sessions that allow you to share tools, tricks, and triumphs, we cover a broad spectrum of ethical hacking topics.
We host a variety of events tailored to every skill level:
- Beginner Workshops: Dive into the basics of cybersecurity, understand the tools of the trade, and participate in your first CTF challenges.
- Certification Study Groups: Join peers in preparing for top industry certifications like CISSP, OSCP, and CPTS through collaborative study sessions.
- Advanced Live Hacking Events: Experience and learn from live hacking demonstrations conducted by seasoned professionals.
- Networking Meetups: Connect with fellow cybersecurity enthusiasts, share knowledge, and build your professional network in a supportive setting.
We believe in a non-toxic community where everyone, from the curious newbie to the seasoned pro, can learn and contribute in a meaningful way. Whether it’s discussing the latest in security software, unpacking complex vulnerabilities, or brainstorming defensive tactics against potential threats, there’s always something to gain.
