What we’re about
Hello,
People join this group to meet new people but there are things that make this group special.
- Our members - I have met a lot of people and we seem to draw very sincere people. In my three years, I have seen so many great relationships of all kinds form. This wouldn't happen at the pace it does if it weren't for the fact that our members come to events with the right intentions and a friendly tone.
- Quality of our events - We are now the largest and most active group in the state. This gives us opportunities to make great events. The hosts and I put a lot of thought and work into our events. It is our goal to make events welcoming and entertaining.
There are a lot of "regular" members that attend many events. Each one of these people started with one event and now I know the group means a lot to them. Take the risk! Join, come to an event, and if it works for you, I am sure I will see you at a lot more.
NOTE: If you would like to run an event, awesome, I would love to hear from you. Or if you are a business that would like for us to try out your establishment, let me know. I am open to suggestions. You can see my contact information below.
Thank you.

See all- Volunteering Fun! Milwaukee River Clean UpGordon Park Pavilion, Milwaukee, WI
This will be our 6th year doing this cleanup, and it’s always been a blast! The picture I uploaded is from a past event—I’m hoping we get just as many (or more!) people this year.
Here’s the deal: We’ll be assigned a specific location near the Milwaukee River, along with bags and gloves—and we clean up! You’d be amazed how much trash we find. Plus, you get a free t-shirt!
There will also be an optional social gathering afterward (we’ll talk more about that as the event gets closer).
Our site is Gordon Park Pavilion (1321 E Locust St, Milwaukee).
There’s a parking lot right next to the pavilion, and I’ll have signs up to show exactly where to meet. So—no parking stress, and the group will be easy to find.To register:
Visit the main page: Annual Milwaukee Riverkeeper Spring Cleanup or copy paste the following address into your browser: https://milwaukeeriverkeeper.org/event/spring-cleanup/ and go to GORDON PARK.
Otherwise this link might work: 30th Annual Milwaukee Riverkeeper Spring Cleanup

Our group is always welcoming to new people. A lot of folks come solo just to hang out and meet others. This is a good cause, and I know the people who show up with give off a great vibe.
Again—our group’s location is Gordon Park. Hope you can join us!
