What we’re about
Welcome to the Melbourne Autistic Social Group! ✨
Our group is where autistic individuals can come together in a welcoming community and find a sense of belonging. Our aim is to create a safe and inclusive space that values connection, sharing experiences, and embracing our unique ways of thinking and being (while building genuine friendships along the way!)
Our core social discussion meetups run fortnightly at Bargoonga Nganjin Library in North Fitzroy, where we gather for connection and thoughtful conversations in a relaxed space.
If you prefer smaller numbers, feel free to check out our companion group Just Auties Being Social (JABS), where we organise mini meets to help connect and make friends in a more casual setting, usually accompanied by activites we do together (cafe catchups, gallery visits, movie screenings, nature walks, and more)!
We look forward to meeting you soon, whether at a library meetup, a mini meet, online event, or all! 😊
