What we’re about
Mosaic Outdoor Club of Northeast Ohio, founded 1998, is the Ohio chapter of a network of non-profit, volunteer groups dedicated to organizing outdoor, active, recreational, social and environmental events for Jewish adults. Mosaic serves Jews of all ages, both married and single, who share a love for nature and the outdoors. Based in Cleveland, we have events throughout the Northeast Ohio area, including hiking, bicycling, canoeing, skiing, skating, camping, rock climbing, horseback riding, dinners and much, much more!!!
Mosaic Outdoor Club of Northeast Ohio membership is $25 per year. Non-members are welcome at most events, however we do charge a $5 non-member fee. You can pay any board member at your first event or contact us if you choose to send a membership check. The money paid to these fees help to offset the expenses the club incurs. These expenses include, but are not limited to, the money for this meet-up membership and any snacks or beverages the club may supply at get-togethers.

HIKE AT FOREST HILLS PARK FOLLOWED BY LUNCH
WHEN: Sunday, April 27, 2025 at 10:30 a.m.
WHAT: Forest Hills Park is an incredible Park that connects the all-purpose trail in Cleveland Heights to East Cleveland. Depending upon how many people attend, we will either stay on the all-purpose trail, or veer off into the many trails so that we can look at some of the streams, bridges and foliage that make this park a gem. If you have never been, this is your opportunity.
WHERE: We will meet in the Cleveland Heights Recreation Parking lot closest to the hiking trail. The Recreation Center is located at the intersection of Monticello and Mayfield Roads. The bathrooms are located in the Building.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES: Join us at the J.O.E. event, where volunteers are vital to our success! Your involvement makes recreational activities possible, and we warmly encourage you to participate. Volunteering gives you a chance to meet new friends and re-acquaint yourself with old ones. For instance, you can lead an exciting off-site hike, host a workshop at camp, or become a member of our friendly ‘welcome committee’ on-site. Please keep in mind that volunteering does not come with discounts.
Note: The Jewish Outdoor Escape is hosted by Mosaic Outdoor Clubs of America, not your local club or chapter. To attend, you must register and pay through the event website. RSVPing through this meetup helps us promote it and encourages others to join, but it does not register you for the weekend.
