What we’re about
Few places are as beautiful and accessible as Boston's Arnold Arboretum! If you want to meet wonderful folks and explore stunning paths, this group's for you!
Our walks are around two hours. We walk at a moderate pace, and there are some uphill sections. We explore a different path each week. Directions to our meeting location and helpful links are below.

Directions
We meet at the Forest Hills Gate at 10 AM every Saturday. (This is not the gate directly across from Forest Hills T Station - that's Washington Gate.) Forest Hills Gate is on the Arborway.
MBTA
From Forest Hills Station on the Orange Line and busway, turn left as you exit the turnstile and exit through the door marked "Arnold Arboretum."
Continue left to the Arborway, which runs parallel to the Arboretum. (You'll cross the street to get from the T Station to the Arborway.) Walk uphill on the left sidewalk of the Arborway, following the stone enclosure wall to your immediate left. You'll reach the Forest Hills Gate in 5-10 minutes.
Driving
If you're driving, there's parking on the Arborway. Set your GPS to Forest Hills Road (pinned on the map). If you prefer, you can also meet us at the Hunnewell Visitor's Center. We arrive between 10:10 and 10:35. You can wait outside the Visitor's Center or inside the entrance doors.
Our first stop is the Visitor's Center, a 10-minute walk. We can use the restrooms and fill up our water bottles; then we have a structured meet-and-greet. (Bring a fun fact about yourself!)
The walk takes approximately two hours, but you can leave anytime. This is a moderate walk with some uphill sections. We explore a different path each week. Please dress appropriately for the weather and bring water. You're encouraged to take a printed map at the Visitor's Center.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
