NEW HOME! Muévete to VisArts! Join us in this stunning new venue that oversees the Rockville Town Square!
"Muévete Mondays" is a platform for our guests to engage with others in our social and dance community through Latin social dancing and meaningful interactions. During these fun nights, guests can dine and dance! Learn some fabulous dance moves, and put them to practice for a nice beginning of the week night-out. Latin dance classes will be followed by DJ music for all to dance the night away.
7:00 to 7:45pm – Progressive Latin Dances for Beginners (new rhythm every month) (June=Bachata, July=Salsa)
This is a great opportunity to get the foundations of these popular dances in a progressive-learning and fun format. It’s great for anyone with basic or no knowledge of these rhythms and dances. Remember, this is also an ideal way to introduce new friends to our Muévete family!
7:45 to 8:30pm – Intermediate Salsa Class
Learn footwork and partner combinations while reinforcing the essentials elements of dancing. These are ideal for students and social dancers that are looking to expand and diversify their repertoire.
8:30 to 11:00pm Open Social Dancing for ALL!
•$10 for one class
•$15 for two classes
•$8 for open social (included with dance class fee)
For almost three years, Víctor Hugo has partnered with Paladar, Rockville to provide you this very special treat. Now, it's time to expand our horizon as we partner with VisArts. Directly from Puerto Rico, Víctor brings 20+ years of experience to make these nights fun for sure, and unforgettable. Together we continue with our common commitment to develop a community-focused platform for you!
