A guided ride of ‘The Gap’ leaving Talybont village with stops at Pentwyn Resevoir. Total climb of approximately 620m, this 30km loop ride is certainly one to check off your list.
Must have a good level of fitness to complete the 30km loop climbing 620m
Must have basic technical mountain bike / off road skills. You will be riding 95% off road on bridleways & singletrack that will have roots and small rocks. All aspects of the loop is rollable and some sections may require you to walk with your bike. There are no technical features such as jumps and drops.
Must have good level of fitness for the climb. Manual and e-bikes are welcome but we will ride as a group.
This makes this ride equally accessible if you are relatively new (but have good fitness) or a progressive rider wanting to explore the gap, Brecon.
We will meet from 9:30am at the Bike Hub, Talybont on Usk, Brecon. Ready to depart at 10:00am. Parking is free at the Bike hub. Showers and toilets are available. A small voluntary contribution is appreciated to the village hall.
Once signed up, you will be asked to provide your email to complete the registration form (medical and emergency information). You will also receive a copy of the map and a short fly through video of the route nearer the time.
This Is a free guided ride with limited spaces. If you are unable to make it, please remove your attendance to allow others to join. :)

Must have own plan for unexpected issues (breakdown etc)
