Great Miami River - Sidney to Piqua - 11.7 Miles of Awesome!

Details
Custenborder Fields to Roadside Park, 11.7 miles of beauty!
Join us for a beautiful paddle on a northern section of the beautiful Great Miami River (GMR). Some of the most spectacular paddling on the GMR.
THE PADDLE
We will start by meeting at Custenborder Fields, Veterans Memorial Walkway [GM 128.0] and crossing the walking bridge with our gear and launching in the middle of town, just below the last dam. We will travel south and cross under some amazing structures, have a river side lunch and end the paddle at Roadside park [GM 116.3]. Be prepared for a long paddle on mostly still waters. We will take our time, giving plenty opportunity for relaxation and photo opportunities. We will pass by a Heron rookery near the Lockington Dam area. Let me just say, the miles are worth it. This is absolutely a spectacular section of the GMR.
