People who currently improvise or are interested in trying out improv get together to attend Leela's weekly drop-in improv classes.
The classes introduce you to Leela’s signature style of improvisation: joyful play, expressing your authentic self, truthful scenework, ensemble building, group mind, character development, detailed space object work, multiple forms, and “Yes, and!"
These classes area a great opportunity for experienced actors/improvisors to sharpen their skills, and newbies to get introduced to the wonderful world of improvisation.
There's often an after party at the Chieftain Irish Pub & Restaurant around the corner - food, drinks, etc...
The class is located in the SF Chronicle building only one block from the Powell MUNI/BART station.
