Welcome to "Miton AI Times," a unique meetup born from a playful twist on words, where the realms of scientific papers meet the tradition of 'Times' newspapers. Organized by the AI Team of GLAMI, along with our colleagues from Biano and Rossum, we represent the innovative spirit of Miton companies. For four years, we've been bringing together Machine Learning enthusiasts from diverse backgrounds. Our community comprises skilled machine learning engineers, data scientists, and AI researchers. The primary aim? To venture beyond our usual boundaries, exploring new regions of interest in Machine Learning, both in theory and practice.

Teaching AI Agents to Read Maps
TruhlĂĄrna KarlĂn, Ć aldova 388/5, 180 00 Praha 8-KarlĂn, Prague, CZPangeAI is building agent-driven geospatial intelligence for anyone, turning natural language queries into instant spatial analysis and decisions, with no GIS knowledge required. Backed by autonomous agents we're focused on use cases geospatial context drive real decisions. We're headquartered in the Bay Area with our European HQ right next door in Prague.
Maps encode rich spatial context that today's AI agents largely fail to interpret. In this talk, I'll share how we're teaching agents to "read" maps in production at PangeAI starting with geospatial embeddings as a practical foundation for geo-similarity detection, then layering multi-agentic orchestration on top to generate strategic geospatial insights at scale. Along the way, I'll walk through the tooling and frameworks we've built to make all of this tractable for engineers, with real-world examples and open questions at the intersection of geospatial data and agentic AI.
