What we’re about
TLDR;
If you're passionate about dodgeball and want to be part of a welcoming, inclusive community, we’d love for you to join us! Our open gyms are the perfect way to dive in and connect with others who share your love for the game.
Our community is built on respect, inclusivity, and fun. We proudly welcome players of all backgrounds, including LGBTQ+ individuals and allies. If you don’t support trans people or engage in hateful rhetoric, bullying, or exclusionary behavior, this isn’t the right space for you.
Come play, connect, and be part of a community where acceptance and respect are at the heart of everything we do. If you value inclusivity and kindness, you’ll fit right in!
About Us
Minnesota Dodgeball is a vibrant sports organization that provides both recreational and competitive dodgeball opportunities throughout Minnesota. We offer leagues, tournaments, open gyms, and community events designed for players of all skill levels. Our mission is to make dodgeball accessible to all, building a strong foundation that supports players of every age and ability. We are dedicated to setting the gold standard in dodgeball by prioritizing integrity, talent development, and inclusivity. Our vision is to foster a community of skilled players who can compete at the highest levels, proudly representing Minnesota on both national and global stages.
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Statement
As an organization founded by an openly queer immigrant, we deeply value the creation of an inclusive environment where individuals can freely embrace their true selves.
At Minnesota Dodgeball, we are firmly dedicated to amplifying the voices of those who face persecution and injustice. Our unwavering commitment lies in cultivating a safe, enjoyable, and inclusive experience for everyone, irrespective of their gender identity, sexual orientation, race, disability, age, and other protected classes.
Discrimination in the form of bigotry, racism, sexism, transphobia, homophobia, and other forms of prejudice behavior are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate dismissal from all Minnesota Dodgeball events.
If you believe that you cannot hold yourself to these standards, we ask that you look at other opportunities to play dodgeball.
Queer Friendly Space
At Minnesota Dodgeball, our leagues are more than just games—they are a sanctuary for everyone who believes in equality, inclusion, and respect. By joining us, you are committing to actively support, protect, and uplift the voices and experiences of all members of our community, including the queer community. We ask that every participant embraces the responsibility to foster an environment where all individuals feel safe, respected, and empowered to be their authentic selves without fear. Let’s work together to create a community where diversity is celebrated, and everyone can thrive.
