What we’re about
Welcome to Mindfulness Nanaimo!
My name is Dar. I'm a counsellor and social worker and I love to teach Dharma, yoga and meditation.
THE PURPOSE OF THIS GROUP
I have created this group as a community service and consider myself a volunteer. I believe in the power of yoga and meditation to aid in the healing of the mind, heart and body. I want everyone who's interested, or in need of skills, to have a way to practice and learn more about it.
WHO SHOULD JOIN THIS GROUP
You don't have to know anything about yoga or meditation to enjoy my classes. I aim to be patient and thorough in my explanation of the practices, and will do my best to adapt both the practice and my teachings to your level of ability, so feel free to join, wherever you may be on your journey.
I will be offering YOGA and MEDITATION classes, and PSYCHOEDUCATIONAL MEDITATION classes.
