What we’re about
Milwaukee Poly is a group for all those wishing to explore, learn about, and better understand responsible non-monogamy in all its forms. Whether it is polyamory, polyfidelity, open marriage, swinging, solo-poly, multiple relationships, or just curiosity, this is space where you are welcome to speak honestly and be heard respectfully.
Our group is a resource and support structure for those who have questions, curiosities, or concerns regarding responsible, non-monogamous relationship(s) in a mainstream culture which is not typically openly supportive of anything other than monogamy. We offer two meet-ups sessions a month. Both are announced beforehand on Meetup, as well as Facebook and FetLife. We focus primarily on building healthy relationships. We are a sex-positive group and welcome discussions on sexual topics, but neither of these sessions is about finding casual sex or new partners.
The first half of the Milwaukee Poly Group is the discussion session which happens the 3rd Wednesday of each month. Each meeting focus on subjects and topics relevant to poly folks such as living arrangements, coming out, jealousy, or dating. All ages are welcome, but the subjects for discussion are generally geared for "younger" or "new" couples.
The second meeting is a purely social hang out and happens the 1st Friday of each month. Time to just meet and converse with your fellow non-monogamous Wisconsinites.
We encourage all those interested in discussing responsible non-monogamy to attend whichever session (or both) they feel is most applicable to their interests and stage of life.
