What we’re about

Looking for writers of all genres seeking to join this amazing read-and-critique workshop! We meet every Tuesday at 7pm at the Historic Grant Avenue Community Center. Can’t make it in the flesh? Attend online through our Discord group. Please see our event page for information on both in person and virtual attendance. Further information on read requirements can be found on our Message Boards.

We are different from other Denver writers' groups. The focus is not on a homework assignment, or a class style environment. We don't focus on 1 or 2 writers per session. We are about YOU and your ongoing work. Everyone who wants to read and get critiqued does so each week. This is a proven format that steadily improves your personal writing.

Get feedback, write more, publish more. That's the name of our game. This is a diverse, kind-but-honest, read-and-critique workshop. The founder has many years of experience working at the Dallas-Fort Worth Writers Workshop and heading up the DFW Writers Conference. Get ready further your craft and career!

Keep in mind, though we meet in a former church turned community center we have no religious basis or affiliation. We are a debaucherous group of misfits who love words.
