Miami Dog Friendly Events

Join us for a dog-friendly Sunday at Woofstock Lite: Barks at The Barnacle on Sunday, May 4, from 11 AM - 4 PM! Bring your pups and enjoy a beautiful breezy day full of activities while supporting Paw Patrol Animal Rescue!

There will be plenty of opportunities for your pups to mingle and have fun with the Happy with Dogs canine lure course, the Dog from Ipanema off-leash fun zone, kiddie pools, a free doga session (doggy yoga), professional photos, a donation drive for Paw Patrol, fur-friendly vendors, delicious treats, and more! Let's bring our dog community together for a gorgeous day at the park! $2 admission, kids under can enter for free.

Regular admission is $2, and children under 6 enter for free. Please pay in person at the gate. Parking available across the street at the Playhouse lot- get here early to find good parking!

Well-behaved, socialized dogs are always welcome during the park’s regular business hours. Dogs must be leashed at all times except for designated off-leash areas. Leashes must be 6 feet long or shorter, with no retractable leads unless necessary. Please don't bring your puppy unless it's over 16 weeks old, fully vaccinated, and fully boostered to ensure the puppy and other dogs are safe.

Join us for a paws-itively perfect Sunday at Woofstock Lite: Barks at The Barnacle on Sunday, May 4 from 11 AM - 4 PM at The Barnacle Historic State Park in Coconut Grove! 🌿🐕

Yogi Tiffany Ann will lead us and our pups in a free gentle doggy yoga session starting at 12:00 PM. Participants must pay $2 at the door to enter the park.

No experience necessary! Just bring your pups' joyful energy for a heart-focused session of mindful movement, combining asanas, hatha yoga, and loving energy!

Please bring your own mats and your bottles of water, and stay for the rest of our amazing event, Woofstock Lite: Barks at The Barnacle!

This is a chance to support rescue pups and connect with your local dog-loving community in one of Miami’s most beautiful parks.

Join Us and Happy with Dogs for an AKC Fit Dog Walk and Yappy Hour at Bay 13 Brewery- RAIN OR SHINE! Let's celebrate the dog mamas on this special day!

Event details:

• Date & Time: Thursday, May 8, 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM (walk starts at 6:15)
• Location: Bay 13 Brewery 65 Alhambra Plaza, Coral Gables, FL 33134
• Admission: Free

What to expect:

• Socialize and Unwind: Meet old and new friends while your dogs socialize over dinner and drinks. Bay 13 Brewery has some drink specials ready for us: $25 pitchers of craft beer (60 oz), $5 pots of beer (10 oz), $7.50 pints of beer (16 oz.), and $5 house margaritas!
• AKC Fit Dog Walk: This will count toward your AKC Fit Dog Walk title!
• Bring your flashlights and light-up collars!

The AKC Fit Dog Walk will be one mile in length. We can walk as slowly as needed; special needs dogs can walk shorter distances with veterinarian approval. Best of all, this walk can count towards your AKC Fit dog titles! The walk is free, as always.

Safety First: To keep our dogs safe, let's remain on one side of the street or sidewalk when we walk. Please bring water for your pups! Please let us know if your dogs have special needs or prefer to avoid certain kinds of dogs, etc.

Please feel free to come by whenever works best for you. We might already be on our walk by 6:15/30, so you can wait for us to return to the reserved patio space or try to join us on the walk. We do our best to check our messages until the start of the walk and will try to share the route so you can join in.⁣⁣

Dogs in strollers and wheelchairs are welcome—there is no need to finish the walk. You can always take breaks!⁣⁣⠀Please only use retractable leads if strictly necessary and if you’re committed to being careful—there have been some leash mishaps. And bring water for your pups during the walk—thank you!⁣⁣
