Looe Island visit and walk

We will catch the boat over to Looe Island just after lunch and spend the afternoon on the island. Due to the distance involved for many, I have included a short 3 mile easy/moderate mile walk through the Kilminorth woods along the Giant's Hedge, following the West Looe river to its confluence before heading back to the coast over the town bridge into the town and onto East Looe Beach.

The price for the boat over to the island is £12 each which is to be paid as a non-refundable deposit and the group will pay half the island landing fee of £8 each. This is paid on arrival. There are only 10 places on this trip so if interested add your name to the Waitlist and I will mail/message you with the details of how to pay the deposit and secure your space.

We will meet near the entrance of the Millpool Car Park for 11:00.
Bring drinks and snacks.
Please note that you are responsible for your own health and safety. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed on the Island.

It is advisable to always bring good walking footwear and weather appropriate clothing, although the majority of this walk is on solid paths, some of it is along muddy paths.
