Welcome and enjoy the outdoors with us!
This group is for anyone that lives in the Richmond, VA area looking to get some outside time.

This group currently hosts local hikes on the weekends.

Members are encouraged to host additional hikes, camping trips, or other outdoor fun. Great way to meet new people, especially if you are new to RVA.

Pups are welcome on most hikes. Check with the host of the event to see if it is okay for kids or little ones to come along in a carrier.

Local Morning Hike

Good hike for anyone who want to enjoy the trails by The James River.

The loop will include Forest Hill Loop Trail, Buttermilk Trail, and Reedy Creek Trail. Most of the route will be graded moderate due to length and terrain.

The group will stick together throughout the hike. Typically, there are two paces. One is a quick pace because of my dog Ellie 🐶. The other is a steady pace. The faster group will pause at forks in the trail to make sure the group stays on the intended route.

There are opportunities to cut the hike a little short, if you cannot stay for the entire hike.

3 to 6 Miles (Depending on portion hiked.)

Pups are welcome. 🐶

Meet at the rectangular shelter in the middle of the parking lot.

The farmers market is open 10 AM until 1 PM. We hang out for a bit after the hike until 12 or 1 PM.
