What we’re about
The Offline Hiking Group encourages participants to disconnect from digital devices by keeping phones off during hikes. This allows hikers to reconnect with nature and build a sense of community through meaningful connections and quality time with others, fostering a deeper appreciation for the natural world.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Being phone-free helps people connect with nature because:
They can see, hear, and feel things more clearly.
They focus on the moment and feel more calm.
They talk and connect with others better.
They appreciate nature more and want to protect it.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"This hiking group is special because everyone puts their phones away while we hike. We don't use them for a little while, so we can play and talk with our friends and see all the cool things in nature. It's like a big adventure together, and it makes us feel happy and connected to each other and to the world around us!"
Let´s get offline together!
