This group is designed for active, engaging, polite and positive people who love to do amazing and interesting things, and who prefer to enjoy doing such amazing and interesting things with other like-minded people. We are a fun, dynamic and positive group looking for like-minded people to join us.
Whether you are an extrovert or introvert, this the group for you. We do so many great things together - food, music, the arts, outdoor activities, watching movies, playing and watching sports, playing board games, and so many other wonderful active and cultural pursuits. If having fun and being adventurous interests you, please join us.
GENERAL RULES:
Stating this is unnecessary for most people, but prudent to avoid any problems. Proper and respectful behavior is required from everyone in the group, whether via chats or in-person. Disrespectful or improper behavior will result in removal from the group. We are a group of considerate and respectful people, and we want to attract similar people to join us.
We are membership-based group, but you can join and have a 30-day trial period. After that, I will request an approximately $9 monthly payment. This is necessary to cover Meetup costs, to compensate for other organizational costs and to allow me commit the time necessary to create fun and interesting events for you. Please note that our organizers are not getting paid for organizing events, and that we personally pay to have this Meetup group on their site.
Please note that there is a limited capacity for events. Paid members have first priority.
Please feel free to share your own ideas for amazing events. If they are interesting and have shared interest within the group, we will organize and schedule them.
REQUIREMENTS TO JOIN THE GROUP:
A personal photo is required where the person is clearly recognizable. Action shots, group photos and the like are not sufficient. You must be an adult age 21 and over. Members who are admitted must read these rules, including the disclaimer at the end, which states that members are forfeiting some rights in exchange for membership. Memberships are individual.

In exchange for participation in the activities organized by this group, you agree for yourself and your guests (if applicable), to the following:
You are responsible for your own interactions with other members of the group. You understand that the group does not do background checks on any of our existing members or on new members joining the group. This site makes no representations or warranties as to the conduct of its members. The organizers and event hosts of this group are NOT liable for any damages whatsoever, whether direct, indirect, general, special, compensatory, consequential and/or incidental, arising out of or relating to your conduct or anyone else's conduct in connection with or attending an event with this group or use of this site. This includes, without limitation, bodily injury and emotional distress. You agree to take reasonable precautions in all interactions with other members of the group, including if you decide to meet outside of an event. In addition, you agree to the group's terms and conditions noted above and to abide by them.
You agree to observe and obey all posted rules and warnings. You further agree to follow any oral instructions or directions given by organizers or event hosts of the group when attending an event.
You recognize that there are certain inherent risks associated with the organized activities and you assume full responsibility for yourself and any guests, for personal injury to yourself and any guests and to further release and discharge the organizers and even hosts for any injury, loss or damage arising out of your attendance or your guest’s attendance of a group event, whether caused by the fault of yourself, your guests, the organizers or any other third parties.
You agree to indemnify and defend the group and its organizers against all claims, causes of action, damages, judgements, costs or expenses, including attorney fees and other litigation costs, which may in way arise from your attendance or your guest’s attendance of a group event.
You agree to pay for all damages to the facilities for any group event caused by any negligent, reckless or willful actions by you or your guests.
Any legal or equitable claim that may arise from participation in the above shall be resolved under California law.
You agree and acknowledge that you are under no pressure or duress to agree to this and that you have been given a reasonable opportunity to review it before agreeing. You further agree and acknowledge that you are free to have your own legal counsel review this Agreement if you so desire.
You acknowledge that you have read this document and understand it. You further understand that by joining this group or remaining a member of this group, you voluntary surrender the legal rights noted above.
