Bay Area Plein Air Painters

If you want to paint the scenic and diverse landscapes of the San Francisco Bay Area in the company of other people who enjoy painting outdoors, then this group is for you. Artists of all abilities, including beginners, are welcome. Painting sites are across the greater Bay Area - generally between the South Bay and San Francisco. I envision painting at the coast, the Bay Area shoreline, a few winery locations, some historic cityscapes, and Bay Area parks. Parking, shade, the weather forecast and bathroom facilities are always a consideration. Some events are on weekends, while others are during the week.
