See all- Weekly Sunday Pickup Volleyball(Average of 60-80 Players Weekly)Ten Pin Bowling Alley, Fitchburg, WI
Weekly Sunday pickup volleyball is back for the 13th year at Ten Pin Alley. Normal turnout is around 60-80 players(many players come from the Facebook group or word of mouth so there will be many more people playing beyond the meetup RSVPs), which works out well with 3 courts available at Ten Pin. All levels of skill are welcome as teams tend to even themselves out(though generally court 1 tends to be more for beginners and furthest court the highest level). Note we never cancel because of rain because in summer it tends to not last long and the patio is partially covered at a spot to provide cover. Likewise there are enough diehards that show up in colder weather that we are still able to get some games going in and pickup tends to keep going through October most years.
Feel free to come whenever(if you're newer you may want to come earlier than later though), but play begins at noonish(it may take a few minutes to get enough people to get a game going), peak time for regulars is 1:00/1:30 and the last players typically retreat to the patio around 3:30ish. Since it has grown beyond meetup I also created a Facebook group that is the first place where updates are posted(and it's a great way to put names to faces). Note that since this posted many places that the turnout is 60-80ish ppl so meetup doesn't reflect who's going to be there. For planning ahead sake please note that Ten Pin is typically closed for Memorial Day weekend, July 4th and Labor Day weekend so there won't be pickup there those weeks(sometimes we'll go to alternate spots if there is interest). - Weekly Sunday Pickup Volleyball(Average of 60-80 Players Weekly)Ten Pin Bowling Alley, Fitchburg, WI
