Louisville Area Social Cyclists

This 19-23 mile ride begins at the Garvin Brown rowing center on River Road. After crossing the Big 4 bridge into Indiana, riders will follow the scenic Greenway path toward New Albany. We usually stop for refreshments at Coffee Crossing on Main Street in New Albany, then circle back to the Big 4 bridge with a side loop in Clarksville/Jeff.

Meet in the Prospect Kroger parking lot ( or you can park in the small lot under the Lewis and Clark Bridge). We will cross the river into Indiana, wind through a Sunday-quiet industrial park, then drop down to River Road into Utica. In Unica, we will head north a short distance and stop to visit retired Courier-Journal columnist Bob Hill who will show us around his Hidden Hill Nursery, also retired. Total distance about 25 miles. If you choose to park under the bridge (space permitting) let us know and plan to be ready to go at 1:05. Late lunch at Gustavo’s following the ride is optional.
