What we’re about
“This is a group for anyone interested in playing ice hockey. The LA Blades has been around since 1985, currently have two teams, one in Pasadena (Novice / Intermediate) and one in Torrance / Harbor City (Advanced). We go to various ice hockey tournaments each each year in New York, NY, Toronto, Montreal, Chicago, Vancouver, Madison, Wi, Las Vegas, NV, host our own tournament every Labor Day weekend here in LA and in Las Vegas as part of the Sin City Shootout, every January during MLK holiday weekend. We have also attended the Gay Games (Gay Olympics) - Cleveland (August 2014); Kolon (2010); Chicago (2006); Sydney (2002); Amsterdam (1998); New York City (1994); Vancouver (1990). Next is Paris - 2018. All skills levels are welcome. I started this group so The Club can continue to expand and offer the opportunity for all hockey players, men, women, GLBT, straight, etc to contact, connect and participate with the LA Blades.
