What we’re about

The LA Black Investors Club is a group of like-minded professionals primarily from ethnic minority groups (primarily African Americans) who are interested in encouraging, discussing, and learning about financial investment strategy and planning. African Americans statistically lag far behind in their level of investment knowledge and practice, and it's our goal to educate and encourage one another to plan for our financial futures, build funding opportunities for entrepreneurial endeavors, educate our children on investing practices, and discuss and even collaborate on stock market trends and purchases. Join our group and learn how to make your money work for YOU!

The goal will be to meet once a month in a casual, professional, or social setting to "talk stock", learn more about an investment concept each month, and even welcome special guest speakers who bring an additional wealth of knowledge. We may occasionally ask for nominal dues to maintain a standard of excellence with our refreshments, guest speakers, printed materials, and/or venues. We also may develop group investment opportunities to pool financial resources for the purposes of methodical short term returns. You don't have to be a stock or investing expert to join our group! You just have to be part of an ethnic minority group (or highly committed to building up minority groups), and you have to be interested in learning more about investing and building an investment portfolio.

Note: Our group supports and encourages people of color to get the education they deserve and to pursue financial independence. It is not exclusive to ANY race, so if you support our cause, and you want to join us in learning, you are welcome to join no matter what race you are. Just understand that we are a multi-racial group that is trying to promote a subject that is so frequently out of reach for many minorities due to the far-reaching effects of systemic racism. You can help us change that. God Bless!
