very few. Most Laotian restaurants are really Thai masquerading as Lao.
I only found 2 in all of Southern California and a food truck.
We will be eating family style.
If you have any food restrictions, this
lunch may not be for you. Some dishes may be spicy.
Famous Laotian pork sausages are featured.
There will be skewers of rib eye with a spicy green sauce and chicken
thigh skewers with a sour/spicy green sauce.
Also sliced crispy pork
belly. Yum! The meat is to be eaten with sticky or jasmine rice
.
Featured are the Laotian salads:
papaya salad, crispy rice salad (Nam
Khao), rib eye larb salad, and salmon (raw) larb salad.
Khao Pun Sin is their beef noodle soup.

noodles with crispy pork belly, and coconut chicken noodles which
sound amazing.
Dessert is Laotian mango sticky rice.
We will be walking across the parking lot to an amazing Asian dessert shop featuring exotic Asian fruit and other goodies in Italian ice, soft serve ice cream, and more. The last time, they gave us samples!
