Let's party... without the hangover! This group is for those who want to meet new people/connect with others that are sober-curious, alcohol-free, or for those who just want to hang out without having the social pressure to have a cocktail. Fun, healthy and novel experiences to meet new friends and form new friendships that can grow beyond the group.
We ask that you are alcohol-free during the events (Cali sober is OK!) but you don't have to be living the sober life 24/7; just while we are out!
Outings won't revolve around discussing not drinking, but you can of course share struggles. Outings may also take place at locations where alcohol is served (mocktails anyone?!), but we ask that you do not drink alcohol at those venues.

WHO: This group is made up of all kinds of folks! Those who never liked alcohol, those who can't drink anymore for health reasons, those who only drink occasionally, those who are in recovery, those who are trying to drink less or quit, and those who just want to meet new people and are ok with not drinking for a night! Adults only, please. The best way to meet new friends is to attend regularly!
WHAT: We are the largest sober/sober curious group in LA/OC! We do all kinds of events! Beach outings, alcohol-free happy hours, skating, yoga, tourist attractions, trivia, music, museums and aquariums, bingo, movies and more!
WHERE: Most events are in Long Beach, but occasionally in surrounding areas.
WHEN: Events are for the most part weekly and have between 5 -40 attendees!
*Please note that since many of these events have a limited number of spots, those who no-show to 3 or more events will be removed from the group

Let's cat cow by the ocean and meet some new friends at Yogalution's free 1 hour class on the bluff at the Bixby Park Annex.
I will be there 30 (5:30) minutes before to have a few icebreakers and get to know ya stuff. The actual class starts at 6 pm. You will need a yoga mat (starting at $8 on Amazon) and water would prob be a good idea! You don't need to be an experienced yogi to join. (Check out a past class: https://fb.watch/reO1yzseSf/ )
Donations for the teachers are welcome. You can bring a few dollars or some will share their Venmo, cashapp, zelle.
Dogs are welcome as well. I have even seen a cat on leash!

Have you ever wanted to take a gondola ride through Naples Canal in Long Beach!? Here is your opportunity! I will provide non alcoholic wine and champagne and we will float through the canals, doing it up Venice style. The ride is 50 minutes. We will meet at 7 at 5437 E Ocean Blvd for the 7:30 ride.
Cost is $49.## What to Bring
- You are welcome to bring ANY NON ALCOHOLIC beverages you would like! We will provide free corkage, ice buckets, and cups.
- You are also welcome to bring any food you would like! We will provide disposable plates, utensils, and napkins.
- We will have cozy blankets onboard but suggest you bring a sweater or jacket to ensure that you are comfortable.
"Established in 1982 in Naples Islands, Long Beach, the Gondola Getaway is the oldest and largest fleet of gondolas in America. One of the things that make the Gondola Getaway so special is the enchanting canals of Naples Islands and its well-trained Gondoliers. The meandering canals, five bridges, calm bays and million dollar homes make for a memorable romantic adventure."
Parking: We have a free parking lot located behind our building, however, we do not have designated parking for our facility. There is also free street parking on East Ocean Blvd. Please do not park in the red Restricted area in the parking lot or in the Leeway Sailing Center turn around. See picture in event pictures.
Plan to tip the GONDOLIERS! Our gondoliers do accept tips, and they are greatly appreciated. Tipping is left up to the individual, but as a general practice, 15% – 20% of the trip cost is the common gratuity.
