Fusing Python with Rust using raw C bindings

This talk is presented by the author of the author of the Packt book "speed up your python with rust" and will go through how to compile a Rust program as a dynamic C library and interface with that dynamic C library using Python. The presenter also built surrealML, a machine learning package where the core execution of ML models is built in rust, but the interface is written in Python. The same rust code interfaces with the Python client and runs in the core part of SurrealDB. The talk will also reference open source Github resources so attendees can continue developing their understanding of async rust after the meetup.
