
What we’re about
This support group provides an opportunity for people to share personal experiences and feelings, coping strategies, information about diseases or treatments and grow together.
Our led support group takes place at 6pm-7pm every Monday and is done online via zoom.
In this safe space we will:-
+ Share the experience of covid-19
+ Share the experience of your disability
+ Discuss how your disability affects you
+ Learn and develop your skills so that you live a happy & fulfilled life.
We will look at physical, mental & emotional ways to take care of ourselves & show greater self-love 💕.
Make friends & attend live gatherings when and where possible.
No one is required to talk if you don’t want to, but we would encourage you to share as this is all part of the process.
Some weeks we will also listen to music as a way of connecting & for inspiration, other weeks we may read some uplifting quotes or poetry, and some weeks we may look at meditation and breathwork as a way to help stay calm and grounded.
Please try and come each week, as regular attendance is imperative for your growth.
The group is completely inclusive and welcomes anyone who identifies themselves as having a disability.
We would encourage you to come with an open heart.
