Hello All

I often get asked for more at the Weekend so here is a very very cool Sunday special for you, as we do something a BIT DIFFERENT - and bring you interesting artists and bands from Europe but based here. Great artists and bands .. bringing a little bit of that extra native flavour. I hope you enjoy!

About the venue: Folklore Hoxton, just 5 mins from Hoxton Overground, has always been a firm Londonlive favourite, with its colourful and cutely styled bar area and an intimate but great sounding gig room. Everything a tiny intimate music venue should be!!

• We Meet at 7pm for a drink in the lovely kitch and cute Folklore bar
• We head to the Gig Room for 7.45pm start

We are thrilled to return to one of our very favourite venues, the eclectic and wonderful Folklore Hoxton to introduce artists and bands who may be based in the UK but have learned their craft and are influenced by their native countries. For our first Viva Europa! we are represented by ESTONIA, FRANCE and POLAND with a wonderfully eclectic lineup.
ZAVA aka Natalja Zaugarova is a new soul-pop artist from Estonia, currently based in London.who perform a wonderful mix of soul, jazz and standards in their own special way. With special guest Polish jazz/folk artist
French artist and finalist in The Voice FRANCE, IRIS writes songs that blend cinematic, soul and pop influences, including Billy Eilish, Yebba and Ben Platt. With a deep and powerful voice, her songs talk about the beauty of sharing and connecting.
MARTA VALADON is a free spirit who began her career travelling all across Europe in her van, making the street her first and foremost stage. She has since settled in London, where she has woven herself into the fabric of its roots music scene. Marta obtained a master’s degree in performing arts from the Academy of Music in Poznan, Poland, but has evolved to adopt a unique Mediterranean and Eastern European jazz style, blended with poignant and emotive lyrics. Her debut album “Queen of Shadows”was released in March 2025.

Its been a long time since we have had an all dayer and with the Bank Holiday not so far away we have put something really special together.

For all you South Londoners (i know we don't get over the river as often as we should) we have purposely chosen somewhere different and actually on the recommendation of one or two LONDONLIVE group members!
But dont worry - its easily accessible wherever you are from in London, of course!!

We will be running a unique multi-artist all day festival at the very unique Bread and Roses Music Venue & Theatre Pub in Clapham. It has a unique and authentic music connection with Glastonbury Festival, having run a live music stage there for many years. I love the story and how that came about and as I am running a special UK tour of community venues in May, I really wanted to bring our artists, friends and fans along to the Bread and Roses to support their great work.

Live music from 1.30pm to 10.30pm across two micros stages within this intimate community music venue/theatre/pub in the heart of Clapham.

Our lineup includes 11 absolutely brilliant artists, with a mix of fantastic new bands, including stunning Birmingham folk rock outfit WOODEN DOG and very cool alt americna US artist ESME WHITE , joining our two UK touring artists in May, FOXPALMER and H IS FOR HAWK (a brand new side project from SI CONNELLY which he is introducing in 2025).
